Midnight Sun
ITF Masters
MT700 Helsinki — the international Masters tournament where Nordic summer light meets world-class senior tennis.
A word from the Tournament Director
New breezes &
great tournament vibes
Many of you have seen me in previous years driving the tournament cars and running errands around the courts. This year I’m stepping behind the wheel of a slightly bigger vehicle — I’ve been given the honour of leading this whole wonderful organisation. From tournament driver to Tournament Director: quite the journey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
There’s a new face at the wheel, but no massive shake-ups are on the horizon. We’re building closely on the solid, familiar foundation the Midnight Sun Tennis tournaments in Helsinki and Vierumäki are already known for.
To me this tournament is about so much more than competition — it’s about community, laughter and genuine togetherness, with a touch of true Nordic hospitality seasoned with a little Estonian twist. Let’s make this summer unforgettable, on and off the court.

Your host city
Welcome to Helsinki
Finland is regularly named the happiest country in the world — a land of pristine nature, four distinct seasons and sisu, that famous blend of grit and resilience. Its capital, Helsinki, is a compact, safe and forward-thinking city on the Baltic Sea where functional design, a thriving food scene and seaside calm live in perfect harmony. Even downtown, you’re never more than a few minutes from a park or the shoreline.
